Easter Adventures in Cornwall

Easter in Cornwall is a magical time of year, with longer days, blossoming hedgerows – and there is a lot of lovely blossom this year – and plenty of seasonal celebrations. If you’re staying with us, here are some fantastic events and activities to make your holiday even more special:

Easter at The Eden Project (March 29 – April 14)

The Eden Project is always a must-visit and Easter is no exception. Expect nature-inspired activities, interactive games with challenges for all ages and the popular Nature’s Playground, where children of all ages can discover water, sensory play and climb inside a huge tree of life!  It’s a great way to celebrate the season and perhaps take part in their Easter Egg hunt.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan – Spring Awakening

Heligan is breathtaking in spring, with thousands of flowers coming into bloom. This Easter, they’re hosting family-friendly trails and nature-themed activities, perfect for children and adults alike. Don’t forget to visit the farm animals—springtime means lots of cute little lambs!

Discover the New Kerdroya Labyrinth (Free Entry)

Recently opened, the Kerdroya Labyrinth is a brand-new Cornish landmark and completely free to explore!  At the edge of Colliford Lake on Bodmin Moor Kerdroya is built using traditional Cornish hedging techniques.  This giant labyrinth offers a fascinating walk through history, craftsmanship, and nature. A unique and peaceful spot for a springtime wander.

National Trust Easter Egg Hunts

No Easter holiday is complete without an Easter egg hunt! Luckily, Cornwall’s stunning National Trust sites are hosting some fantastic trails. Head to Cotehele, Lanhydrock, or Antony House for a fun-filled day of exploring, with chocolate treats waiting at the finish line.

Explore the Tamar Valley

Right on our doorstep, the Tamar Valley is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering stunning walks, hidden villages, and breathtaking river views. Whether you fancy a riverside picnic, a gentle cycle ride, or a visit to Morwellham Quay, there’s plenty to discover.
