Wonderful cottage in the beautiful quiet Cornish countryside within easy drive to various beaches and Bodmin Moor. Spotlessly clean, Barry and Kirsty couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Free access to nearby country club included in our stay was a real bonus, especially on rainy days with its spa, pool, tennis and golf course. We loved being in close proximity to the local village which had a great pub, the morris dancers were a treat!. Our cottage had a real fire for cooler nights and there was easy free parking next to each cottage. We’ll definitely be returning for a 2nd visit.

Such friendly hosts, everything lovingly decorated and clean. And it’s very, very quiet here.

Five stars! The cottage was wonderful, clean, cozy and well equipped. We very much enjoyed the rural setting. Kristy and Barry are magnificent hosts, responding quickly to any requests. They have prepared guest books with tons of suggestions on local things to do. We stayed there 2 weeks and felt right at home. We highly recommend this venue.

It was lovely to stay in your cottage with my sister and my dog, Megan.    Having direct access to your land and wood to walk Megan each day was fantastic.  I appreciate that sometimes there is livestock on the land and that this is not always possible, but for our stay it worked out really well. Megan loved exploring and doing zoomies in the big fields.Your attention to detail and little touches were appreciated.  The cottage was clean and beautifully presented; you thought of everything. It is a wonderful place of calm and ideal for a stress-free chill out, which was needed by both of us. As soon as you walk in, you relax! The location is perfect also, with access to Cornwall and Devon. I have stayed in many places and this is right up there among the best.   I enjoyed the chats also!! I’m sure one day we will be back!

We booked this cottage because it was reasonably close to family we were visiting in Cornwall. It met our criteria of parking, walk in shower, freezer and washing machine/dryer. The property was spotlessly clean with lovely towels and bed linen. It had everything we required for our comfortable stay. The outside space was a bonus. Barry & Kirsty were excellent and very helpful hosts. We also thank them for sharing their local knowledge. The welcoming cream tea was greatly enjoyed. Richard & Sue

It was such a shame we had to cut short our stay in your delightful cottage, it was spot on and most definitely one of the nicest we have stayed in. You guys should be proud of what you have achieved at Rowse Farm and we wish you all the very best for the future. Barbara and Barry, Stafford.

We stayed at Rowse Farm for a week in April 2025. Skyber is a beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean, spacious and with a very well-equipped kitchen. The location is so peaceful, whilst still being close to Plymouth, Looe and also having the option to walk into the nearby village pub for dinner. We enjoyed visits to the beach and to local National Trust properties with our cocker spaniel, and treated ourselves to a Michelin star meal at nearby Crocadon restaurant one night. Barry and Kirsty were fabulous hosts, and we came home relaxed and recharged.

“Excellent 10/10. Location is perfect for exploring. Lots of places within an hour with the added bonus of a Michelin starred restaurant a 5 min drive! The bakery is well worth a visit. Grounds to the accommodation are great. The cottage has everything you need, with the beds in the master bedroom being the comfiest we have slept on for a long while! The owners are very friendly and accommodating and their suggestions list was superb. We worked through a large portion of them with enough to warrant a second visit soon! Would highly recommend the cottage, location and the owners! Superb break!”

“Kellywyk is a super converted farm building, with excellent outside space to make the most of the very peaceful rural setting. The owners Barry & Kirsty were very attentive on arrival, but also respected our privacy.  Brilliant rural position, deceptively spacious & comfortable. Lovely outside space & seating to relax in. Very enjoyable place to stay & switch off.”

“This is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered! We loved the location, fantastic views, so peaceful and surrounded by wildlife. The Tamar valley delivers on so many fronts walking, coast and beautiful scenic gardens. Kellywyk is very well maintained and equipped and the sunny garden is an added bonus. Kirsty and Barry are excellent hosts, very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely go back and can highly recommend a visit.”

“I spent about four days here and everything about it was perfect the communication with the hosts was great all the way through and the hospitality was exceptional.  The place was kept in immaculate condition and iwas greeted with scones and cream on my arrival. Accommodation is perfectly located it’s very remote and really tranquil and relaxing with amazing views. Barry and Kirstie are really nice and also enjoy the surrounding areas as well so it was really nice to share experiences over a few days that I was there. I have been to Cornwall a few times before but not back to the same place until finding this cottage and will definitely be booking again. If I’m gonna be honest I don’t really want to review this because I don’t want too many people finding out how good it is a but all in all it is really good.”

“Barry & Kirsty are very friendly people. We stayed at Kellywyk cottage which was perfectly clean (even on top of the wooden beam indoor) Everything like washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave. Nice couch and chair inside with perfect resting place. The bedroom is quite spacious with a nice good 2-person bed in is as also some cupboards. The shower is not too small. I can advise everyone to stay at this cottage slightly northwest of Plymouth.”

“Our stay at Rowse Farm was amazing. We stayed in Tikkidew Cottage which is beautiful. It is like home from home with everything you need provided. The tranquility of Rowse Farm made it a lovely relaxing break. Kirsty and Barry are such a lovely couple. They made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. The farm is a 15min walk from a local pub, The Weary Friar which serves lovely food. The Cottages are in a great location so it is easy to get to local beaches and attractions. “Just back from a wonderful stay at Rowse Farm. We (two couples) stayed in Skyber and absolutely love the layout with the two bedrooms and bathrooms giving you your own space as well as the spacious lounge and kitchen. The grounds are gorgeous and the cottage was spotlessly clean with lots of special touches like the cream tea.
