Freshening Up for the Year Ahead at Rowse Farm Holiday Cottages
The quieter months are the perfect time for us to focus on maintenance and improvements here at Rowse Farm Holiday Cottages. With fewer guests around, we take the opportunity to freshen up the cottages, making sure they’re in top condition for the busy months ahead.
A Fresh Coat of Paint
One of our main tasks during the off-season is repainting. Over time, surfaces can show signs of wear, so we give them a fresh coat of paint to keep everything looking bright and welcoming. Inside, we focus on keeping the cottages feeling clean and cosy, while outside, we refresh doors, window frames, and garden furniture ready for spring.
General Maintenance and Repairs
We also use this time to check and fix anything that needs attention. From small touch-ups to larger jobs, we make sure all three cottages are in great shape. This includes checking plumbing, updating fixtures, and making any necessary repairs to keep everything running smoothly for our guests. We also complete our annual fire safety risk assessments and have all of our fire extinguishers and fire blankets serviced and checked. Mattresses are cleaned, our log burner is serviced and all of our PAT testing is done. It’s a busy time!
Preparing the Gardens
Spring brings new life to the gardens, so we get them ready by tidying up flower beds, pruning trees, mowing lawns to make sure that the outsides look tidy. Whether guests want to enjoy a morning coffee outside or relax in the fresh air, we want the surroundings to be as beautiful as the cottages themselves.
Looking Forward to Welcoming Guests
Our goal is always to provide a high-quality, comfortable stay, and these quieter months help us do just that. Whether you’re a returning guest or planning your first visit, we look forward to welcoming you to Rowse Farm Holiday Cottages for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
