A different start to 2026!
2026 got off to a very different start than normal for us at Rowse Farm Holiday Cottages, with Kirsty breaking her leg in a skiing accident back in mid January! She has only just ditched her crutches and although it will be a long journey to full recovery, nothing stops her doing the laundry and keeping up with changing over the cottages! Thank goodness Barry is more than handy with the housekeeping AND maintenance to have held the fort!
Dog Friendly Staycations in Cornwall
Despite the inconvenient mishap(!) we’ve had a flurry of guests since we opened at Easter and we are looking forward to a busy 2026 season. With so much uncertainty in the world at the moment, we have noticed that the UK staycation is attractive to a lot of people. Staycations in Cornwall were hugely popular during lockdown and we regularly welcome back lots of returning guests to Rowse, which is of course located on the edge of the Tamar Valley
Warm Sunny Weather for the Bank Holiday
The sun arrived briefly in the south west a few weeks ago and Cornwall enjoyed some much needed dry days. We managed to finally mow the lawns, get on top of all those jobs that we put off during the cold winter months and sort out our summer bedding plants. The rain returned, but the weather is looking good for the bank holiday weekend with warm sunshine forecast. We’re excited to be putting out the BBQ’s in front of each cottage! Whether it’s a last minute trip, or a planned holiday for July and August then take a look at our availability on our booking page
