Beyond its scenic beauty, Looe is a haven for food lovers. The renowned Sardine Factory recently had their talented chef, Ben Palmer, showcase his skills on the Great British Menu! Pengelly’s fishmongers on the Quayside sells freshly landed fish and support sustainable fishing methods. They have a variety of choice, whether for the BBQ, the oven, or even to eat fresh.
Exploring the Town:
Take a stroll along the famous Banjo Pier and browse the many lovely shops lining the streets. Parking is convenient with a large car park just over the bridge on the right-hand side, a short walk from the town center.
A Coastal Adventure:
For the adventurous, a stunning coastal walk awaits. Many of our guests have enjoyed the trek from Looe to Polperro via Talland Bay, following the South West Coastal Path. This scenic route boasts breathtaking views. Don’t forget, the dog-friendly Talland Bay Beach Café is a perfect halfway point to refuel and enjoy the beach! After reaching Polperro, simply catch the number 573 bus back to Looe for a relaxing journey home.
