What shall we do at Easter?

Playing in the children's playground at the Waterside, under the Tamar Bridge, Saltash.

Spring has finally arrived here in Cornwall and we are loving the lighter mornings and nights.  With the long Easter weekend fast approaching we’re wondering where to venture and what we might get up to!  There are so many places to choose from and so many places offering activities or events over the Easter period that we’re spoilt for choice.  In Saltash, which is only a few miles away from Rowse, there’s a free ferry that will be running from Saltash Sailing Club.  With the iconic Tamar Bridge towering above, the ferry will travel across Plymouth Sound to the Royal William Yard where a number of events are planned for the bank holiday.  There are also various other activities taking place down on the Saltash Waterside over the Easter weekend.  Or maybe we will head down to the National Trust’s Lanhydrock,or the Lost Gardens of Heligan for a bit of garden inspiration.  One thing we will definitely be doing is indulging in some yummy chocolate – it is Easter after all!  We’ll be sure to walk it off and there are some cracking walks nearby.  Rowse is a gateway to Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, and the Rame Peninsula is just a short drive away.

We have some last minute availability at Rowse, so do get in touch if you’d like to come and stay.
